I previously had some old mousemats over the drum pads but decided to mod them properly.</p>
<p>Basically got some circular foam pads which have a adhesive side.</p>
<p>The main thing is to make sure you clean the pads before sticking the foam onto them as otherwise you may find the foam doesn&#8217;t stick very well.<br />
I used lighter fluid to clean mine as then I knew it would be dry after. (also I have some for cleaning heatsinks)</p>

<a href="http://www.equk.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/IMAG0020.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-194" title="IMAG0020" src="http://www.equk.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/IMAG0020-250x150.jpg" alt="IMAG0020" width="250" height="150" /></a> <a href="http://www.equk.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/IMAG0022.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-196" title="IMAG0022" src="http://www.equk.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/IMAG0022-250x150.jpg" alt="IMAG0022" width="250" height="150" /></a></p>
<p><em>Another thing which really makes a difference to playing is getting some proper drum sticks. I am currently using some 5AN (nylon tip) ones.</em></p>
