Fixing Razer Deathadder
I recently had to disassemble my Razer Deathadder as the left click button was playing up (missing clicks and double clicking). I’ve only had the mouse for about 2years so was surprised it had broke so soon.
On taking it appart it seemed the problem was just that the plastic which makes contact with the button had worn away slightly (like <1mm).
After a slight adjustment it was all working but about 2x more sensitive than before (a fly could probably land on the button and set it off).
I have previously had 2 other Razer mice. The first was a Boomslang 1000, mine is a numbered one and is one of the first 2000 made.
I bought this back when I used to play quake2 around 1998. At the time it was an amazing mouse at 1000dpi on a rollerball design.
I then moved onto a cheap logitech, ms explorer v3, logitech mx500, logitech mx310, Razer Diamondback 1600dpi
