Google Picasa

I decided to drop flickr as I got fed up with it coming up with “this photo is currently unavailable” on every image.
So the first thing that came to mind was picasa (with the recent news of google buying picnik).
I have to say the software is amazing, really reminds me of iphoto.
I then created a Picasa web album account and put up some test albums by setting up sync folders and it’s so seemless.

I had some problems with integration with wordpress at first tho, especially trying to get a widget to work properly.
I have since got the Galleries to integrate perfectly using the picasa API (uses GData token). You can see this on the Gallery page.

I am still working on a widget which uses the RSS feed (similar to my flickr one).
